[Pianod] Pianod2 hangs on network stall

On a pi, you need one of the two at the moment.

And Raspbian provides libav, but reverting to an older version… thar be dragons, I’d expect. [=Lots of unknown difficulty]

If you can completely uninstall libav using the package manager, you could compile and install ffmpeg (with some manual effort since it’s not included with the package system).  That’s your best shot… otherwise, if you are unable to completely evict libav, you’ll need to carefully statically link your compiled (but not installed) ffmpeg with pianod.  Thar also be dragons.
