In general, building from SVN also requires autotools (autoconf, automake, libtool, etc.).  Building from the tarballs does not.

On Linux, adding libbsd is one way to provide the fgetln dependency.  I'm not sure if this is really still needed as the configure script may now be able to handle adding an fgetln to the code if you're missing this.

wsgw requires only pthreads.


## Raspbian-Wheezy ##
Not a confirmed necessary/sufficient list, but pianod builds on my system and I have the following:
    libao-dev libgcrypt11-dev libgnutls-dev libjson0-dev libfaad-dev libmad0-dev

I also have libbsd-dev.  pthreads is available natively.


## ArchLinuxARM ##
Not a confirmed necessary/sufficient list, but pianod builds on my system and I have the following:
    libao libgcrypt gnutls json-c faad2 libmad

I also have libbsd.  pthreads is available natively.

Note that sometime in Q4 2012, the version of gnu-netcat available was broken, so I have stuck to the openbsd-netcat program for testing pianod communication on Arch.


## Fedora Core 17 ##
