Internet Explorer 6 & 7 Note
Presumably, you've found your way here from a client's page— meaning you're running an outdated edition of Internet Explorer. (If you're running Internet Explorer 8, click the back button and turn off Tools→Compatibility View. Our sites work best in standards mode.)
The site you were viewing has been designed for standard browsers. The legacy edition of Internet Explorer you're running is both deprecated (out-of-date) and non-standard (from a technical sense, broken). To make things worse, outdated technology tends to become vulnerable to security exploits, which are left unaddressed because the software is outdated.
Although you can go back and continue browsing, upgrading your browser will improve your security, provide a better surfing experiencing, and eventually make a lot of web designers' lives easier.
Several options are:
- Upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 (which you retrieve directly from Microsoft's web site, in case you're worried about the infective risk of installing software) or the MSN Edition of IE8.
- Switch to FireFox.
- Switch to Opera.
- Switch to Google Chrome.
