Thanks for gathering the info.  In the development downloads, r 225a has updates for Football that should fix the shutdown issue.  Let me know if that corrects the one issue.

The -v option also gives a lot more build information now, including the version numbers of the audio & media libraries.

As far as being unable to configure audio settings from the startscript… is this only at boot time, or anytime?  If it’s boot time, that would make sense if pianod is starting up before the devices are available, and it can’t find them.  If that’s the case, I may need to add a flag to override the validation it tries to do.
