Build 111 is available. User persistence! No longer do you need to keep CREATE USER commands with unencrypted passwords in the startscript. The user database is persisted if it's dirty when (1) a track starts playback, (b) the SHUTDOWN command (iii) if a shutdown signal is caught (i.e., not -9 unless you're on a Prime machine).
I suggest you start up once with your existing startscript, then issue a DELETE USER ADMIN (a default account created when there's no password file yet). You're then golden to remove the CREATE USERs from your startscript.
The database goes in ~/.config/pianod/passwd, but you can put it elsewhere with -u <location> in your systemd or launchd files.
Cheers,
Perette
