That does sound very handy, and very doable.

That would probably be the Right Thing, but no-- updates go straight into the SVN trunk, and it's caveat emptor to download a stable release.  I try to test pretty well before check-in, but I'm sure I'll screw up at some point.

Anyway, seed and station management are in 96.  I also changed the version numbering to use the SVN version number (in the tarballs; if you get it from SVN it'll report it's an SVN working copy) to reflect the continuous release I seem to have adopted.
