Resolved: pianod audio output problem

Unclear but reportant indicates problem resolved.

Notes
- mserver plays okay
- no sound output from pianod
- same issue with pianobar

Environment:
- two raspberry PIs.
- OS: Same rasbpian
- One: console connected to hdmi (including audio out)
- Second: using line out/headphone jack
